No account is required! CryptoQR works entirely in your browser. We don't store any of your data - not your wallet addresses, not your generated QR codes, nothing. Your privacy is fully protected.

We fetch real-time cryptocurrency prices from CoinGecko, a trusted price aggregator. When you enter an amount in USD, we convert it to the equivalent crypto amount using the current market rate. Note that crypto prices can be volatile, so the actual value may change between generating the QR and receiving payment.

For maximum wallet compatibility, some cryptocurrencies (like USDT, TRON tokens, and EVM chains) use address-only QR codes. This is because not all wallets support the full payment URI format (like EIP-681 for Ethereum tokens). The address-only format works with virtually all wallets.
